Sophia Yong

Sophia’s core expertise lies in assurance and compliance services, with a primary focus on audits for both public and private companies. She earned her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2016 and brings over 10 years of experience in public practice, having worked in management roles at both large and mid-sized accounting firms, as well as a ‘Big 4’ firm.

Sophia has advised clients across the mining, technology, retail, manufacturing, and energy sectors, with particular expertise in IFRS and ASPE reporting, complex accounting issues, and coordinating group audits with international components.

Outside of the office, Sophia enjoys playing the piano, travelling, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with family and friends.
