Keval Shah

Keval is a Senior Manager in the Audit practice at Johnsen Archer, providing strategic guidance on complex assurance matters, financial reporting, and risk oversight. His experience spans public practice and industry, combining technical depth with a pragmatic, business-oriented perspective.

He has held senior roles at a prominent mid-sized firm and a Big 4 firm, where he directed complex audit engagements across diverse industries and earned a reputation for disciplined execution and sound professional judgment. Prior to joining Johnsen Archer, Keval worked within the financial reporting leadership function of a Fortune 500 company, deepening his understanding of financial reporting complexities and operational realities facing management teams.

Keval holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

He is committed to developing people and strengthening the profession. In addition to mentoring engagement teams, Keval teaches MBA-level accounting, reflecting his belief that lasting audit excellence is grounded in technical rigor and investment in developing future leaders.

Outside of work, Keval is actively involved in spiritual and community initiatives, enjoys cricket and basketball, and values time with family and friends.
