Paul is a founding practice leader of Johnsen Archer LLP, having joined a year after the firm's inception. He came to the firm from Thorne Riddell where he was a Senior Manager specializing in audits and accounting. In addition to his C.A. designation, Paul holds a Bachelor of Science from the Neufchatel Junior College in Switzerland and the University of British Columbia, and a Licentiate in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.

Paul keeps a sharp eye on our clients' satisfaction and success as the practice leader who oversees administration and quality control. The fact that Paul can be found today servicing many of the firm's original clients is a tribute to his high standards and ability to satisfy clients' needs. Much of his work is done with industries such as construction, manufacturing, high technology and distribution.

His specializations include research and development, audits of private companies and not-for-profit organizations, and litigation support. Paul describes Johnsen Archer LLP as "a progressive firm of original thinkers providing clients with excellent service, especially in many areas not covered by traditional accounting firms." He is proud of his part in the firm's creative approach and its "synergy of personnel." In Paul's words, "we're always looking to improve our clients' net worth and be forward-thinking."

When he is not in the office, Paul volunteers and spends time with his three grown children. He also enjoys his regular hikes up Grouse Mountain, racquetball, tennis and bridge.
